Lewis Hamilton is better than you at driving – the British F1 driver has amassed seven world titles, tied with the legendary Michael Schumacher. However, most dishearteningly for surfers, he’s probably better at that, too.
The proof came in a recent clip on Hamilton’s Instagram. In it, he starts off wake surfing on a boat wave – a relatively common sight amongst celebrity surf clips (only barely edging out stacking clips of being dragged into a KSWC barrel by Raimana). However, rather than just sit in the pocket and crow about his love of “surfing,” Hamilton decided to actually do something. After flashing a cheeky grin to his nearby audience (which included girlfriend Kim Kardashian), he pulled off a pretty respectable 360.
Then he got a little ambitious and attempted another one that he didn’t land, but that’s not the point.
So there you have it. In addition to being rich, famous and the best driver in the world. Lewis Hamilton is better at surfing than 99 percent of the surfing community. Let’s just pray he doesn’t come for whatever other meager hobbies we have.
