Press Release

The Quiksilver Festival 2025 drew to a close this weekend, with crowds
flocking to the event, ready to cheer on 24 of the world’s best surfers under
a beaming sun on the beach of Le Boiteux in Hossegor.

On the compsite, Event Director Miky Picon announced the day would
include not one, but two rounds to close the event.

In the morning, the Best Combo theme carried on with riders expected to
deliver as many maneuvers as possible on a single wave. Perfect waves
rolled in thanks to Hurricane Gabrielle, and with non-stop sets in sight, the
final day of the competition kicked-off.

In the afternoon, the theme switched to “Biggest Turn”, offering excited
crowds a high-paced succession of airs, carves and turns, perfect for the
event’s spectacular lineup featuring Alan Cleland (MEX), Hughie Vaughan
(AUS), Mikey Wright (AUS), Clay Marzo (UA), Sam Piter (FRA) and more.

After 5 days of competition on the Landais sandbanks, the team formed by
international powerhouses Leonardo Fioravanti (IT) and Zeke Lau (HAW)
took the win with a final score of 68.29, officially becoming the third duo to
win the Quiksilver Festival since its inception.

The win closed the third edition of the surf, skate and arts event that
welcomed nearly 50,000 people over the course of 9 days and hosted
athletes such as 2025 Rookie of the Year Marco Mignot, Olympic
Champion Kauli Vaast, WSL CT surfers including Griffin Colapinto, Alan
Cleland, Vahine Fierro and Kanoa Igarashi, as well as legends such as Kai
Lenny and, of course, Jérémy Flores himself.

The insane lineup was topped with 19 side events ranging from concerts
and DJ sets to signing sessions, live paintings, movie screenings and
skate demos.

With this third and truly epic edition, the Quiksilver Festival has once more
proved itself to be the go-to surf event of the season.

The Quiksilver Festival’s 2025 edition is supported by: Swatch, Oatly, bunq,
Groupe Clim, Enedis, Carlbreak, le Surfing, Deezer, Europe 2, Capbreton,
Hossegor, Seignosse and the French Surf Federation.
