Lagundri Bay, generally just known as Nias, is a good wave. One of the best in the world, in fact. And on April 27, it was about as perfect as it gets.
Not as huge as Nias can get, but perfect for a surfer who doesn’t feel like cheating death. It’s getting to be that time of year for surfers in Indonesia. High season is waking up and stretching its arms, warming up for what’s to come.
If this particular run of swell is any indicator, what’s to come is very, very exciting. Surf Raw Files was there with cameras in hand to film the session, and everyone in the lineup is likely still talking about it today.
